"I just wanted to reach out and thank you for the First-Aid Trauma kits that have been donated to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. We received a person shot call in Orange City. As multiple Deputies and I arrived on scene I was able to quickly grab and utilize the trauma kit to assist my Sergeant in treating and stabilizing the gunshot victim. The victim survived his injuries and later in the day we as an agency were able to apprehend the subject responsible for the shooting. This Trauma kit has shown to be very useful on multiple occasions whether we have needed to use it or not.
